Robin Williams, a proud Chicago native, served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 2011 to 2015 and later in the Reserves until 2018, earning an honorable discharge and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. After her military service, she joined the American Red Cross, where she worked in international social services, helping reunite families displaced by war and providing vital resources to active duty military personnel and veterans. Robin founded A Hero Needs a Story to offer a platform for sharing testimonies and supporting communities in need. She has donated books to veterans, provided sewing machines to Middle Eastern women, and advocated for police-citizen relations. With a master’s degree in criminal management, Robin is now focused on her goal of becoming the Mayor of Houston.
